RSP

The Melt Spinning technology of RSP makes it possible to produce aluminium alloys that have a very fine and homogeneous microstructure. The RSA-aluminium is used to make both mirrors and mould inserts by single-point-diamond-turning.

The fine microstructure of the melt spun material makes it possible to generate surfaces with significantly improved surface texture and an improvement in reflectivity, while mechanical properties and machining characteristics are optimised according to the constituent alloying elements used.
